  1. Call out charge - we do not charge for this on plan 1 or 2. Plan 3 and 4 service customers will be charged a call out charge. Our call our charge includes the first half hour on site.
  2. Mileage to job - we do not charge for this on any of our service plans, it is included in our call out charge.
  3. Congestion charge -we do not charge for congestion charge on any of our service plans.
  4. Travel time to site - we do not charge for this on any of our service plans.
  5. Labour utilised to perform a service - this is calculated to reflect the site and fixed for a twelve month period (2 visits per year) and only additional on plan 4.
  6. Nitrogen used for cleaning - oxygen free nitrogen used whilst carrying out the service is included in our price in plans 1,2 and 3.
  7. Parts used to repair - any parts required are charged extra in a service or breakdown unless on our all inclusive plan 1 or under manufacturers warranty.
  8. Labour used for breakdown/repair - any labour for breakdown repair work is charged extra unless on our all inclusive plan 1 or plan 2.
  9. Gas used to recharge - in the event of a gas leak all gas is charged as extra on all our plans other than our all inclusive plan 1.
  10. Disposal of waste - all contaminated waste/gas removed from site is charged extra in all plans other than our all inclusive plan 1.
  11. Parking - any parking costs incurred are charged at cost on all plans other than our all inclusive plan 1.
  12. Payment Monthly - On a 12 month agreement the annual price can be split into twelve equal payments fixed for the duration.
  13. Payment against invoice on completion - the traditional method of invoicing on a 30 day account on completion of service work or breakdown.
  14. All agreements - are based on the work being carried out during normal working hours. Monday to Friday, 08.00 - 17.00.

Serv-ICE Plan One

This is a commitment for normally two service visits per year (site dependant). This is scheduled work and your site is contacted by our office at the requested time to coordinate the service.

Included in our Fixed Price (all within normal working hours)

  • You will not be charged any call out fee.
  • You will not be charged any mileage fee.
  • You will not be charged for the congestion charge.
  • Any travel time to the site is included in our fixed price.
  • Labour to carry out the required service against the scheduled list of equipment is included in the fixed price.
  • Nitrogen gas used to carry out the required service is included within the fixed price.
  • You will not be charged for any component parts used to repair any item of equipment covered during a routine maintenance or emergency breakdown.
  • You will not be charged labour for any breakdowns on any of the schedule list of equipment throughout the contract period.
  • You will not be charged for any current gases required to recharge.
  • You will not be charged for reclaim of gas or disposal.
  • You will not be charged for any parking.

Excluded from our Fixed Price

  • VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate

Payment

You will have your annual costs split into twelve equal payments, paid either by standing order or by invoices payable within 30 days. Other methods of payment are negotiable.

Serv-ICE Plan Two

Serv-ICE Plan 2 is probably the most popular type of agreement. This is a commitment for normally two service visits per year (site dependant). This is scheduled work and your site is contacted by our office at the requested time to coordinate the service.

Included in our Fixed Price (all within normal working hours)

  • You will not be charged any call out fee.
  • You will not be charged any mileage fee.
  • You will not be charged for the congestion charge.
  • Any travel time to the site is included in our fixed price.
  • Labour to carry out the required service against the scheduled list of equipment is included in the fixed price.
  • Nitrogen gas used to carry out the required service is included within the fixed price.
  • You will not be charged labour for any breakdowns on any of the schedule list of equipment throughout the contract period.

Excluded from our Fixed Price

  • You will be charged for any gases or parts used to repair the units at the Serv-ICE prevailing price.
  • You will be charged for removal of any contaminated waste/gases at the prevailing rate.
  • You will be charged for any parking fees (where applicable) at cost.
  • VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate

Serv-ICE Plan Three

This Service Plan is simply an agreed price to carry out the routine maintenance of the refrigeration equipment on site only and is revised on a 12 monthly period. This is a commitment for normally two service visits per year (site dependant). This is scheduled work and your site is contacted by our office at the requested time to coordinate the service.

Included in our Fixed Maintenance Price (all within normal working hours)

  • You will only be charged the agreed rate to carry out a maintenance visit.
  • You will not be charged any mileage fee.
  • You will not be charged for the congestion charge.
  • You will not be charged any additional travel time to site.
  • Nitrogen gas used to carry out the required service is included within the fixed price.

Excluded from our Fixed Price Maintenance

  • You will be charged a call out fee which will include the first half hour on site for any breakdown work carried out.
  • You will be charged for any labour time taken to attend any breakdowns at the prevailing rate.
  • You will be charged for any gases or parts used to repair during a breakdown visit.
  • You will be charged for removal of any waste at the prevailing rate during a breakdown visit.
  • You will be charged for any parking fees (where applicable) at cost during a breakdown visit.
  • VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate

Payment

On completion of the works an invoice will be sent for the full amount, payable within 30 days for account holders.

Serv-ICE Plan Four

Serv-ICE Plan 4 is simply a reactive call out plan without any commitments. There is no scheduled service arrangement in place. When required we will come to site at your request.

Included in this Plan

  • You will not be charged for any travelling to or from site.
  • You will not be charged any mileage fee.
  • You will not be charged for the congestion charge.

Excluded from this Plan

  • You will be charged a call out fee which will include the first half an hour on site.
  • You will be charged for the time taken to service or repair the job at the prevailing hourly rate.
  • You will be charged for any gases or parts used to clean or repair the units at the Serv-ICE prevailing price.
  • You will be charged for removal of any contaminated waste/gases at the prevailing rate.
  • You will be charged for any parking fees (where applicable) at cost.
  • VAT which will be charged at the prevailing rate

Payment

On completion of the works an invoice will be sent for the full amount, payable within 30 days for account holders.

Exclusions

  1. Under the terms of this agreement Serv-ICE Refrigeration Limited will not be liable to supply refrigeration repairs necessitated by reason of negligence or misuse of the equipment or by reason of any other cause beyond its control except ordinary wear and tear.
  2. The following items are specifically excluded:
    1. Failure or deficient external electricity or mechanical services, i.e. gas/electric/water supply (including scale).
    2. Interruption or electrical supplies i.e. failure to supply cable, distribution equipment etc.
    3. Inadequate equpment design, manufacture or installation (to be settled by arbitration by seeking a second opinion from another refrigeration company).
    4. Abortive visit.
    5. Obsolete or redundant equipment and components i.e. components no longer manufactured or available.
    6. All lighting.
    7. Damage or misuse of flexible cables or plugs.
    8. Equipment failure due to intervention by third parties, i.e. other refrigeration service companies.
    9. Gaskets, door cabinet and cold room furniture, flooring matting and shelving.
